A commission work theme includes but is not limited to:

- bridal bouquet
- favorite flowers or garden
- memorable item
- baby shoes (a great baby shower gift!)
- a child's favorite toy portrait; etc.

How to commission a painting

• Take a look at my portfolio to make sure you like the painting style and would like to commission an art work of the same style.
• Read the sample of the Commission Art Contract to get familiar with term of the process.
• Email me any question you have about the process and timing.
• Choose your subject and collect several reference photographs of the subject.
• Choose material (oil, acrylic, graphite) and size of the painting.
• Send me the reference photographs and description of the painting you would like to commission.
• Process the payment of $75 as a non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the final cost of the painting.
• Once the deposit is processed, I will do up a small sketch of the painting for approval (up to three sketches).
• Once the sketch, style, vision is approved, process pre-payment of 50% of the final cost of the painting and as soon as it’s done I start the process of painting of the final piece and will send photographs of work in progress so you can review and request some correction if needed (the final work will be done within the frame of the sketch).
• Once the work is complete, I will send you the images of the final painting for approval.
• The unframed painting will be send at cost after the remainder of the fee is processed.
